Greater Goods is a creative studio (like a lot of studios mind you). And like all creative studios we wondered "Has our media gone a bit off-road ?" I mean... it's true, video games, when we think of them, we see pictures of young kids having fun, okay sometimes fighting. But mostly fun ! Innocent, pure, blissful moments that we all go "awwww" to when we get to witness them.

Nowadays ? Oh right yeah, video games, the highest grossing industry, worth more than cinema and music combined and what do we hear of ? Predatory marketing tactics, players caught in gambling addictions, big gaming studios accused of being unrespectful to their "clients" as they like to call them and even their own creative workers ! As our media grows, so does ethical concerns and greedy sharks trying to make a quick buck off the back of unsuspecting players are now overpopulating our untamed seas ! (Yes ! The guys that want to steal time & money from your moms & grandmas !)

The answer was clear :
"Yeah... we're pretty much better off starting again from the ground up, than trying to fix this mess"

But you know what ? That's fine, great even ! By starting anew as the sun rises above our heads, we can leave to yesterday its ideas and practices. We can focus on our future and strive for what's good, to create cheerful experiences for everyone to enjoy and to make sure everyone gets the respect they deserve. From your, soon to be, favorite creators, we hereby promise that we'll do our best to bring you the games you deserve and most likely have already been waiting for a long time !
